This is a first look (more to come, maybe we can discuss a couple different directions). Just for fun, and to learn how to add more presentations with operationality and security to a WordPress website.
This one is just 2 slides.
You’ll notice that it comes up looking like a regular Powerpoint, with two big exceptions: 1. They can’t edit it, and 2. They can’t download it.
I think this is beneficial for a few reasons: 1. Everyone is comfortable with PPT, so there’s no learning curve…this is a friendly interface, and 2. It allows them to jump around back and forth to slides in differrent parts of the presentation, whereas a slideshow limits them to one slide forward, one slide back.
ALSO, I know that these URL links are ugly. When it comes time to embed them in the pages of your website, your developer will be able to make them look like buttons, or whatever (I haven’t figured that out yet…first day on WordPress!).
